(More customer reviews)Ordered on the 7th of Dec. Received it on the 11th. took some time playing with the Massage modes. Then reclined and raised the foot rest, tried the leg massage. Then Raised the back and tried to lower the foot rest. Foot rest would not go down. Motor would run but no movement. Tried calling customer service but was not getting through. Since it was about 5pm their time I decided to wait until morning. Morning of the 12th, called customer service and explained the problem, lady said they would ship out the needed part. Also told her there was a cut in the vinyl covering on the foot rest bracket. Had a problem making her understand where this cut was located. Asked if this could be repaired before Christmas, and was told yes. They called me back on on the 13th I don't remember the reason, and I asked if she had ordered the bracket also. She had not but said she would. I was later told I would receive the foot rest motor on the 21st and would receive a new leg massage unit on the 27th, and was given a number to call to arrange for a repair man to visit. Got to looking at what the repair man would have to do and in doing so discovered one bad 2 inch scratch in the back and one smaller one at a screw hole and a couple of scuff marks. When the parts arrived on the 27th of course I could not get any one at the repair service and left a message. Thinking about the scuffed and scratched back I called customer service On the 31st and asked if this was a returned unit, was assured it was a freshly made unit and if I was unhappy the could sent me a new one. I thought for the money they should send a new one [back?]. Lady said she would call me back on Wednesday The 2nd. Was told they would be sending me a new chair and to return the new parts with the chair. called back on the 3rd and said the chair had been ordered and I would get a call from the delivery people to arrange for delivery. Tomorrow will be the 9th of Jan. and I still have a broken and scuffed $2700 chair sitting in my living room. This has been the most disappointing Purchase I can remember. Wife loves the massage, she has a good bit of back pain. I can take it or leave it, and if not for her, I would send it all back and wash my hands of it.
