(More customer reviews)Honestly, I couldn't be happier with it. I use it almost every day... and it DOES help! For years I have had an itchy back and I would constantly be scratching at it; at the office, at home, in the car. As I am sitting here right now... not an issue anymore!!!!
What I like about it the most is the luffa, and being able to press against it to scrub my back. As a guy... I'm not really into the whole "luffa" thing. I always considered it more something women would use. But having sensitive skin, no other man-made product really worked. The synthetic pads like brillo were too rough on my skin. It hurt to use them and would leave my skin raw. Other synthetics used in poufs just didn't work very good on my back. I have used the brushes and even tried the one you use with both hands that you can scrub your back with. They sucked.
Then I gave in and tried the girlfriend's luffa sponge. Oh my! Luffa was just rough enough to clean my skin but not too rough. It worked great as a body washing sponge, however I could never really scrub my back very good. I have been using luffa back brushes for some time now, and they work to an extent... but not like the big bear scrubber. Oh my... I love this thing! (Did I mention that already?)
The only real drawback to it though is that your shower wall has to be clean for the suction cups to stick. I, myself, no problems. However, I gave one to my brother and he says it doesn't stay on his shower wall. I told him he was nuts, it's a suction cup and well... they stick to any non-porous surface, but he insisted it was garbage. One day I'm at his house and decided to check it out. There's like an 1/4" of soap scum built up... well duh! But whatever, I guess everybody ain't going to like everything. For me though... I highly recommend it to anyone with an itchy back. I wish I would of found this years ago!
