- No Corded Operation
When the groomer is plugged in, it cannot be turned on (It is a safety feature).
- Slow
The groomer is a little under-powered. It may take a few passes to remove hair from a specific area.
- Hard-To-Remove Combs
The combs are hard to remove once their snapped on. (It takes a little practice. You need to pry it on one end while simultaneously pushing it off the trimmer.)
- Brittle Clear Plastic Combs
The combs feel a wee bit fragile. They are made of brittle clear plastic as opposed to the more pliable plastic.
- El Cheapo Mesh Pouch
The pouch for your groomer and attachments is a simple mesh pouch (no compartments)
Important Note:
The battery is nickel-cadmium (NiCad). It is important that the groomer be charged for 14-16 hours before its first use. Not doing so might result in the battery capacity being diminished permanently ("memory effect" - the problem is specific to NiCad batteries only).

For the price, the Remington BHT600 is a decent performer. It may be a little under-powered, but it gets the job done.
